BARBER CORNER

SAT 12/01/2008 we went to collect a tall single-door wardrobe and we converted it into more shelfs inside. Bought some flat board woods from Homebase. That evening, the three boys had their hair cut at a salon near Hampstead.....the cheapest in town coz one cutting style only - GI cut; no 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 etc.
SUN 13/01/2008 after sending the three boys to Arabic school, hubby went up to Richmond area to pick up a chest drawer, another sucessfull bid in ebay. We had our lunch at makan cafe portobello market afterwards. While waiting to pick up the boys, jamu mata kat M&S edgware road. Nana gave her posed near Egware Road Station while waiting for me.

MAAL HIJRAH

THU 10/01/2008 Malaysia hall on weekly basis recite yassin and this week they organized a Maal Hijrah celebration. It was lead by Ust Elfino. It started with Isha prayer, recite yassin, lecture and closed with selawat. As usual, after that we had makan-makan.....macam-macam ada.

STOKE ON TRENT

SAT 0501/2008STOKE ON TRENT one of the town kat UK ni. Kat sini terkenal dgn barangan bone china usch as Royal Albert,Port Meirion dan yg seangkatan... kalau kat Sogo or KLCC reganya ribu-ribu...
Kami bertolak dr London around 8.30am drop our kids at our bro hse kat Birm then kami meneruskan "projek besar" kami ke Stoke. Malangnya apa yg kami aim sold out since it was on sale for 75%, yg tinggal saki baki je...patern lain only sale for 50%.Pun begitu sempat juga grab apa yg patut - tambah koleksi sementara stok masih ada...eh..eh.. tak sementara masih disini... Nampak gaya kena pegi lagi la....
Since kami berdua aje so kami menjelajah ke seluruh Stoke(sambil tu nak test power hubby's new friend), maka terjumpalah Trentham Shopping Village.. jalan cuci mata aje tapi sempat juga pekena aiskrim dia walaupun sejuk...
Main attraction kat sini Italian Garden(kalau tak silap la namanya) macam-macam ada kat dlm tu.. nak masuk kena bayar... kami tak masuk pun since we did not bring the kids.
Around 4.00pm bertolak ke Birm to fetch the kids then after dinner we back to London...

ROYAL ALBERT HALL

TUE 01/01/2008 Happy new year...2008..almost two years we have been in London. A new year holiday that means no congestion charges and parking ease around london thus after lunch, we went to Royal Albert Hall. A huge place where Allahyarham Sudirman and recently Datuk Siti Nurhaliza peformed at the Hall. Nearby is royal music colleges made up the Albert Square. Across the road is the Albert Memorial and we drove along Kensinton Road and parked nearby Kensington Place where the late Princess Diane stayed from 1981 till 1997. We may plan to visit again the Palace during Summer time to enjoy the garden.

BATH

SAT 29/12/2007 We decided to spent the day kat Bath. It is a tourist town with lots of medieval buildings. It was very cold but worth it but raining in the afternoon. most shops in town still on sale n we again shopping for another bag - definitely better bargain than bicester village. Husna got her birtday present, pair of shoe n shirt - her favourite zebra shirt. At the Cresent, we bumped into a malaysian old chinese couple from alor star n their daughter. He was very happy to meet a fellow malaysian.

THU 27/12/2007NUR AMEERA HUSNA - "cahaya puteri yang baik" the only girl we have who is 5 today... no special party just a cake(tu pun susah nak cari coz banyak kedai masih dlm Christmas mood stock belum sampai kalau ada pun puding christmas).. susah juga lahir kat hujung-hujung tahun ni, kalau waktu kat KL sibuk dgn urusan abangnya nak masuk sekolah almost we forgot about her bday. But she very happy today since all her brothers gave her present(wrapped in old newspaper - something that she really likes - SWEETS, ntah dari mana abang dia dapat)

CHRISTMAS and BOXING DAY

TUE 25/12/2007 Christmas day kat London ...kira macam oranng KL cuti raya le..semua balik kampung..kat sini orang London semua pi holiday.... So we took the opportunity pusing-pusing London dengan kereta...jalan memang lengang. Keluar pun dah lambat sebab hujan dr pagi. We just went to oxford street, regent street and then we went to Horse guard house, 10 Dowing Street - rumah PM n Tower Bridge. Seronak dapat park kat hujung bridge- hari lain memang tak leh buat. Kami posing habis atas bridge.
We also would like to say a big thanks to our good friends - Su/Shahrul n Ina/Azam who accepted to our late invitation for dinner. Walaupun jemputan agak mengejut...sebab tetamu asal kami..adik dari Birm tak dapat dtg atas sebab-sebab kesihatan.
WED 26/12/2007 Kat UK ni bila boxing day(26/12) normally all shops will have a big sale, after discussion during dinner last nite, kami sepakat nak ke Bicester Village(one of the factory outlet) bila sampai kat sana macam biasa je sale..., org yg datang luar biasa ramai. namun begitu kami tergoda juga le....dua tiga beg bawak balik. Macam biasa terjumpa en. Azam dan en. shahrul..terus ajak kami ke burton-on the water. Kami ikut je....seronak dapat dtg sini. malangnya atas kesilapan teknikal semua foto2 kami ter delete...hemmmm nasib...ada reason untuk kesana lagi sekali. Gambar2 di bawah di pinjam copyright dari blog yg sering mjadi rujukan kami (siri menjelajah UK n Europe) -ASR n SMMS, TQ (kalau ada gambar lagi forward le kat kami)

WED19/12/2007eventhough we all just came back from Ireland last night, sempat juga I masak a few dishes for raya yealah nak bagi budak-budak ni suasana raya sikit, asyik dok sebut christmas.
This morning kat msia hall ada buat makan-makan lepas sembahyang raya, bila balik semua dah kenyang, since makanan banyak lagi ada kat rumah hubby ajak le dua sahabat karib dia kat sini for dinner... dapat le dengar ceria Switzerland dari Shahrul dan juga tip-tip melancong dari Azam
Tak sabar rasa nak ke Switzerland..insyallah maybe next autumn we all ke sana.. amin

IRELAND - DAY 4

TUE18/12/2007Our flight to London was at 3.30pm, after check out at 9..00am we went to Dublin Castle, one snap in front of city hall and St Patrick's Cathedral then drove to St Stephen's Green kat sini terletaknya Dublin Fusiliers Arch yg di bina pada tahun 1904.
Kalau ikutkan time masih sempat nak masuk one of the museum tapi masa ni myself pulak demam so we went to Blanchardstown Shopping Centre to eat our pack lunch.
Our flight to London also delay for 30mins.
Home sweet home at 7.30 terus bersilat kat dapur for menu raya the next day..

IRELAND - DAY 3

MON17/12/2007kami bertolak ke Belfast (2hrs drive from Dublin)
Our first stop was at City Hall, kat sini ada Christmas Market and Belfast Wheel(mcm eye on msia), then we went to tourist centre(dptkan map)
Belfast, sama macam Dublin small and quiet town dan kat Belfast ni le kapal Titanic yang dah karam tu dibuat.
